11.192.000 Romanians watched Intact Media Group’s TV channels at the beginning of 2015

February showed audience appreciation for Intact Media Group’s TV channels on all time slots, on the commercial target, as well as numbers growth on key time slots, on All Urban and National targets. Antena 1, Antena Stars and Antena 3 remain in top ten TV stations, hierarchy based on rating figures, on the commercial target.  More than 8 million Romanians watched for at least one minute, during Prime Time, Intact Media Group’s programs in February. During the Whole Day, the reach rose to 11.192.000 Romanians. On the other hand, four nominations at the prestigious New York Festivals (for “In Premiera cu Carmen Avram” and Observator’s campaigns) validate the work of Intact Media Group’s journalists.

Intact Media Group

  • Intact Media Group’s TV channels’ audience figures increased on all time slots on the commercial target, compared with the same month last year. The most consistent appreciation (+ 28%) is during Access time slot (16.00-19.00. At the same time, Intact Media Group’s TV channels are audience leaders during Day Time and Late Fringe.
  • In February 2015 the market share grew on all time slots, on All Urban target, compared with the same month last year. Intact Media Group’s TV channels are market leaders during Whole Day, Morning, Day Time, Access and Late Fringe time slots. On the National target, Intact Media Group’s TV stations are leaders during Whole Day, Day Time, Access and Late Fringe.

Antena 1

  • New seasons of “The Bachelor” and “Tu cara me suena” were launched this February;
  • Intact Media Group’s generalist channel is the absolute market leader during Day Time and Access on the commercial public;
  • The most consistent appreciation (+19%) in February 2015, compared to the same month last year, is during Access time slot;
  • “Tu cara me suena”, “The Bachelor”, “Beat the blondes” and “Acces Direct” are amongst the most viewed shows. Also, the daily strips, “Acces Direct” (magazine show), “Un show pacatos” (Late night show) “Neatza cu Razvan si Dani” (morning show), “Mireasa pentru fiul meu” ( May I call you Mom?) and Observator (news bulletins) are in top audience charts in 2015;
  • “Acces direct” had 100% leadership over its main competitor on the commercial target in 75% of the time.

Antena Stars

  • Antena Stars maintains its positive evolution, with significant growth on all time slots in February 2015, compared with the same month last year;
  • Rai da’ buni” (Mihai Morar), “Dosarele VIP” (Cristian Brancu and Dan Capatos), and “Agentul VIP” (Cristian Brancu) are amongst the most watched shows on the commercial target.

Antena 3

  • Intact’s news television channel maintains its leadership amongst its niche. Antena 3’s market share has a strong upward trend in February 2015, with important audience appreciation on all time slots, on the 18+ target. The most significant appreciation, of 50%, is during Late Fringe. Antena 3 is audience leader on the whole market, in February 2015, target 18+, Urban;
  • “Sinteza zilei” (Mihai Gadea), Exces de putere (Oana Stancu and Adrian Ursu) and “Punctul de întâlnire” (Radu Tudor) are amongst the most watched programs of the station;
  • “Sinteza zilei” (Mihai Gadea) was watched on average by 616.000 Romanians in February 2015;
  • The main competitor’s rating value is half of Antena 3’s.

Euforia TV

  • Intact Media Group’s channel for women airs some of the most appreciated TV Series worldwide. “Downton Abbey”, “Revenge”, “Dr. House”, “Private Practice” are some of the TV series Euforia TV indulged its viewers in February 2015;
  • The February theme was “ Euphoria of love”.

ZU TV

  • ZU TV holds leadership position during Whole Day, Prime-Time, Morning and Late Fringe on its niche. ZU TV’s target is urban population, 15-34.
  • Emeli Sande’s concert, Mr. Rima and ZU Party Romanian Tour are amongst the most watched programs in February.

11.192.000 million Romanians watched for at least one minute Intact Media Group’s productions at a national level, during Whole Day in February 2015. In Prime- Time, the number of TV viewers reached was 8 370.000.
