Antena 3 and Observator received seven awards at New York Festivals World`s Best TV & Films 2014

 Antena 3 and Observator were awarded with gold, silver and bronze at New York Festivals World’s Best Television & Film 2014, ranking among the most important channels in the world, in a ceremony held on April 8.

În premieră with Carmen Avram” was the winner aof two Gold World Medals (for the categories Biography / Profiles and Current Affairs) for the article “Long way home” and two Silver World Medals for the materials “The Hell of the Forgotten Children” (Best Investigative Report) and “Romania poisoned” (Environment & Ecology).

The team behind Observator was awarded with a Gold World Medal (for Best News Documentary / Special) and a Silver World Medal (Investigative Report) for the campaign “Children are not for sale”, and the Bronze World Medal for the campaign “Children are not invisible “(Human Interest).

nyf 5Landmarks in the TV industry participated at the competition for world best productions. Among the winners range big names such as CNN, Al Jazeera, Discovery, Yahoo! Studios, Deutsche Welle, HBO, ESPN, Showtime Networks, NBC Entertainment, Walt Disney Animation Studios and ZDF (Zweites Deutsches Fernsehen).
