The televisions of Intact Media Group, winners at the APTR awards

Monday evening, Antena 3 won the APTR Award for 2012 for „the most watched talk shows.” The news television of Intact Group received four awards in as many categories and Antena 1 won the „Presenter / Producer” category with Gabriela Vranceanu Firea and the show „Craciun in familie”. The Television Professionals Association Awards Romania is now at its XXII edition.

The talk-shows with which Antena 3 won the Grand Prix APTR are the following: „100 de minute” (presenter-producer Alessandra Stoicescu), „Punctul de intalnire” (presenter – producer Radu Tudor), „Sinteza Zilei” (presenter – producer Michael Gadea), „Subiectiv” (presenter – producer Razvan Dumitrescu), „Exces de putere” (presenter – producer Oana Stancu) and „Secvential” (presenter – producer Adrian Ursu). The award was presented by Mircea Diaconu, Minister of Culture. „It was the television which kept us wired,” said the members of the jury.

Mihai Gadea, Director of Antena 3 said during the awards: „I want very much to thank my colleagues, I want to thank also the viewers of Antena 3, who, being there for us in large numbers, gave us the reassuarance that we should continue. If the number of viewers had been lower, e would have been easily put to silence. ”

Antena 3 was the winner in four important categories.
Jean Louis Calderon Prize for Peter Petris, and Carmina Simona Botog Othman, for the Piata Universitatii broadcasts.

The Investigation Award – the Observator reporter George Colgiu – „Romanian Post, robbery without end” and Antena 3 – Ionut Cristache, „The case of Daniela Andreescu”.

The Best Image Award, Cristian Tamas for „On the edge of hell”, with „In Premiera”.

The Reportage Award went to the team of „In premiera”.

Gabriela Vranceanu Firea received her fith career prize APTR, however, it was the first for Antena 1, as a producer – presenter of an entertainment show. „The diploma I received on Monday night is extremely valuable to me as I am given an award from a prestigious organization, Association of Television Professionals in Romania. I am honored and happy to receive this award, especially since this marks a new field – entertainment – in my professional development ” said the star Antena 1.
